Society Supports Goodyear History Book

Authors Denise E. Bates, Ph.D., a historian and Arizona State University professor, and Sally Kiko, a longtime resident, worked closely with the Three Rivers Historical Society, the City of Goodyear, and local families to compile more than 200 fascinating images, reflecting the memories shared by many of Goodyear's residents.

The Goodyear volume joins other area published books in the "Images of America" series from Acadia Publishing covering Avondale, Buckeye, Litchfield Park, Tolleson and The Wigwam Resort.

There is also a volume in the "Then and Now" series covering Buckeye
